The major aim of counselling is to encourage students’ academic, social, emotional and personal development. We work with teachers, parents as well as students We organise programs such as: - Career guidance - Social skills programme - Orientation program

COUNSELLING
You can't Control the Situation But You can control Your Reaction. ...

One’s attitude leads to one’s altitude. Discipline is not just a moral value but it is the most powerful virtue that is necessary to be successful in life. A student cannot achieve the goals of life without being disciplined. We ensure discipline amongst students so that they can perform their duties in the right manner. It develops the students into strong individuals, it gives them a teaching of a lifetime and it leads to their social development. Also, we have a committee that sit to decide on offences committed by students. These issues or problems are discussed and addressed on the general assembly and during our parent conference.

DISCIPLINE
The discipline of desire is the background of character....

Our vision at RISS is to prepare a people ready for the Lord. In a bid to achieve this vision we focus on the physical as well as the spiritual growth of the students. Here is an analogy in Genesis 2:7; ‘God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living being” In essence, the creation of man did not end at the moulding of man from the dust but at the inflow of life. Thus, we are concerned about the spiritual development of every child. At RISS, we desire to build a total child including the spiritual sphere. We achieve this through: - staff devotional meetings every morning - spiritual assembly where students are assigned to spiritual heads (teachers) to lead them in bible study - partner with mission outlet to counsel and mentor the students.
